A few questions from newbie (me)

Hello.

Does Stellar network already work or not?
Can I try it out somehow?
How can I sing up to get started using Stellar network?
I have found this page:
https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#/
but do not know how to get a "Secret key".
Hmmm.
I think I should sing-up somehow...

I also have found this page:
https://www.stellar.org/developers/guides/get-started/create-account.html
but it is too technical, I know very little about command lines (I not a technical person).

I see that Stellar team is doing a great Job (at least have a good plan) to invite and educate many new people (form Nigeria etc), but I am a little disappointed that I can't experience it ... I have to read tons of articles (plain text) and could not find any simple educational – practical "step by step" videos
(on Youtube etc) what I can (or will be able on exact day X) to DO with Stellar.

If I can't experience Stellar in simple, practical, easy to understand way NOW, than there is little or no purpose to invite crowds of new people NOW.

Please correct me if I am thinking in a wrong way.

Hey Mindaugas!

Thank you for your interest! ? As you noticed there aren't many use cases for end users so far (there are some wallets though). I really encourage you to read our Roadmap. We're currently in the Phase 2, so we're focusing on partners that will create use cases apps/mobile wallets for end users. We hope to reach individuals in the next phase: Phase 3 that will start in 2017 (or sooner).

We'll also start a new giveaway in the next few months focused on individuals.

PS. Answering your question: try to use one of existing wallets to create a key pair. It will generate a secret and public key you can use to receive lumens (I'd be happy to send some).

Generate keypair (you get your public key/address and your secret key)
and after use your secret key to log in at:
https://www.stellar.org/account-viewer/#/
(you will need to get 20 Lumens for your account to be funded)
