Problem:

When buying tickets from website or agent for an event such as music concert, festival, sporting contest or live comedian, sometimes the tickets either don't arrive or turn out to be fake and you aren't refunded.
Unable to instantly and safely buy and resale tickets.
it's difficult to prevent manipulation/speculation of ticket price.

Solution:

We are developing an end-to-end solution to disrupt event ticket market for both consumers and businesses.
Event organisers will be able to issue tickets (as tokens) and sell them securely, protecting their customers and themselves from fraudulent actions using Blockchain technology on the Stellar network.

Features:

For event organizers:

Create new tickets for events via web app - effectively create tokens for each event.
Monitor sale status and other analytics in a web app
Mobile app used to redeem tickets

For consumers:

Mobile app to purchase tickets
Mobile app (wallet) to securely store the tickets (tokens)
Future marketplace

You know this is such a great idea if executed perfectly could revolutionize the way tickets are sold and consumed. A way to show the ticket with all the colors and stuff while a barcode/QRcode to confirm its uniqueness, and the emission/purchase done on the network so the issuer gets all the money without intermediaries with real time tracking. Everybody in the whole world has a mobile phone so all they have to do is show the ticket under a scanner and enter the venue.

There should be an option to allow/forbid resale/transfer which can easily be done with multisigs. A winner in my book even though you have to fight with giants but it's all worth it.

WOW!!! this is an amazing idea! a great use of the upsides of the Blockchain technology!
This is exactly the kind of ideas we will soon see much more of, and which will make our life easier.
Good luck with the implementation! Great potential!
Try to think of interactions with social networks APIs (Facebook, Instagram etc.), great things can come out of it.
For example, it would be great if people could publish on Facebook events which they bought or wants to sell tickets to.

I love this project and I wish you all the best. Whenever you have a working prototype start by contacting small local venues like pubs and social places for starting rock bands or college sports so you can test the app with real use. Tell them they could use both physical and crypto tickets while you polish the app. You'll need a wallet and a scanner so people can hold their tickets in their phone while venues can scan the tickets and allow entrance but always give them the chance to fall back to physical in case not everybody is on board with the new app.

And you know what, all types of entrance tickets, parking tickets, attendance, conferences, etc can be used with your wallet/scanner. NFC also comes to mind for proximity scanning even in the darkness.

Thank you for your feedback and great ideas, we are working hard to release some very exciting features.

We also achieved a really important milestone. We are collaborating with a local event organizer in Tel Aviv to issue and distribute tickets through Tickle for her next event.
