Stellar Token Platform

Tokens and ICOs in the last year have exploded in use with Ethereum being used for the vast majority of new tokens and ICOs . Stellar has real potential to be a major competitor for more basic tokens especially with its built in decentralized exchange. With this in mind I really want to help people create and get familiar with how assets work in stellar.

For the stellar build challenge I have been working on a platform which allows you to create a new asset and then put it up for sale on the exchange, essentially automating an ICO. While this is already really simple to do, automating and having a good user experience will hopefully show how useful stellar can be to release tokens on. With only around 1000 assets ever created on the live network, I really think the platform could help grow stellar.

For the future, I would like to add in the ability to create more complicated assets, a directory of assets created and for sale on the exchange and a mini block explorer with a focus on assets. All while keeping a smooth and easy to learn user experience. I will also be open sourcing the whole project.

Small update, you can create your own tokens on testnet. check it out at https://lumentokens.com

I will probably rethink the UI a little to allow transferring, buying and selling of the tokens next.

Nice UI but there are some security issues with your project. Issuer and distributor accounts should be private and known to the user, not generated at random. Right now only you know the secrets and that's a no no for public use even if that's only available on testnet. How am I supposed to send the tokens if I don't have the secret keys?

Youre right, the whole thing is done client side though so there's no back end server that would know the keys. If you click on the account addresses you get the full pub key and secret key for each account. Once I release the source im hoping that you would be able to run it locally if you want to do it securely.

Definitely will need to add the ability to use existing accounts though, especially in order to use public network.

Very clean and easy to use interface, nice job. I would add the options myplanet has (but include a description) and awarning about creating addresses would be nice.
