Hi all
Matthew here with a little announcement. I have officially joined the Rehive team and will be taking over the Luuun project as the full time developer; with the intention to spin off Luuun as a separate company as the project and user base grow.
For those who don’t know, Luuun (https://luuun.com/) is a web wallet for Stellar Lumens. It is the easiest way to send, receive, and store lumens without having to manage your own private keys.
The Rehive founders began working on Luuun as a side project for the Stellar Build Challenge and as an example use case for their Rehive platform - https://rehive.com/. The team has since been tied up with the platform’s development and Luuun has sadly taken a backseat. Since there has been a significant user adoption of the application, Rehive have decided to appoint me to take over the app's development and become the new face of the project.
I am still fairly new to the project and, to be honest, got quite frustrated myself when using the application for the first time as a result of some basic UI/UX issues. However, the core of the app - the Lumen wallet - is quick and easy to use and I personally see great potential in the project. Our goal is to develop Luuun to become a “Venmo for the Stellar blockchain”. Luuun aims to support a range of Stellar issued assets, include a social feed for public payments, and support payment requests.
I am also going to put quite a bit of effort into building a community around the application and getting interaction on our public github board - including building a wiki space.

Please don’t hesitate to let me know if you have any questions or feedback.
Current status:
1. Luuun currently only supports transacting and storing lumens. We’ve added federation support for human readable addresses, e.g. user*luuun.com.
2. The app is in the Android Play store and works on Expo for other operating systems.
3. UI/UX design needs work.
Our roadmap:
1. In the short term we’ll be focusing on improving the basic usability of the app, removing unnecessary features and making the app faster (e.g. loading contacts seems to lag on some phones). I’ll also be taking the lead on publishing Luuun to the iOS app store with the release a major update for Build Challenge by 15 March 2018.
2. Second priority is to work on the onboarding process and creating a knowledge base for new (and experienced) Stellar users. We’ve learned that many users are new to Stellar when joining Luuun and this means there is a need to educate users about security, key features and usability.
3. Our longer term roadmap is to support multiple Stellar issued assets, add a social feed for public payments and support for payment requests.
4. Based on community interest we will also look into supporting a web/desktop wallet.
5. As the app grows we are also considering rebranding it with a new name & look - something I’m hoping will present itself to me at some point over the next few months.
I look forward to gaining input from the community and seeing how far we can grow both this application and the use of the Stellar network in general
