We are build a solution based on top of Stellar that will help address a part of this problem. Incentivising various actors along the supply chain with micro rewards distributed through the stellar network, and by making decentralised, verifiable and tamper-proof manufacturing information available (through an app) to the end consumer we hope to help fight this problem.
