Building on top of the API of one of the winners of the 4th SBC - Popcoin, we've built a complete system for both users and most importantly website publishers. What started out as just a WP plugin at first it quickly became clear that forcing users to have multiple balances across tens of websites presented a UX friction point. Our solution to the problem was developing a Chrome extension so that users could take one balance across the web and then spend it on any website that has the plugin installed.
Benefit:
Allow publishers the ability to generate an additional revenue stream and new business models, with the use of ad blockers by users and the rise of browsers natively blocking certain websites with intrusive amounts of advertising.
