I've been thinking that an approved by stellar "stamp" could be really helpful for people developing things using the stellar network.
I've recently spent a lot of time creating an Android wallet for stellar but I have a lot of people cautious to use it.
I think a lot of people are worried that it's a scam app, which I think is fair when your dealing with peoples savings, it would be great if we could submit an app/website/whatever to the stellar team to get it listed somewhere as an approved application for the stellar network and confirm that it does what it says it does.
A potential problem with this is people could apply for this get approval and then release a different version of their app, but right now it seems a challenge to get people using it in the first place.
Everyone keeps asking for the source code to my app as if that will prove that it's safe. I could quite easily have a "clean" copy of the code that I share with people but then my released app could be using different code all together.
If I released the source code someone could quite easily release my app with some tweaks to the code to make it send lumens to themselves and trick people in to downloading their version instead of mine. This seems to do the opposite of proving my app is secure and make it even easier for people to get in trouble.
