Exchange lumens to USD

I'm new to Stellar so I realize my knowledge is fairly limited. Nevertheless, I am very curious..... For a coin that's intended for money transfer I have not been able to find a simple way to convert to Stellar to USD. Does this service exist (without going through exchanges, sending to Coinbase, etc)? If it doesn't, why not?

If one were to start a service like this, what would they need? To me, this seems simple (forget about sending different currency(. The service would just be exchanging lumens for USD. If you have thoughts, feel free to outline this in broad strokes without getting into the details, I'll do the research from thereon.

I can release updated code if you are interested but I'm working on a new project. I think having a multi-seller market place for coins is better so I created DAM (https://digitalassetmarket.me/). It doesn't automatically transfer coins like the LM but has other cool features.

@BlockMaster , this is interesting, but I don't see a way to convert Lumens to USD. Is there a feature like that on digitalassetmarket.me?

Yes, you list the price your want to sell lumens for in USD. The price for lumens will be displayed in USD. Is this what you are asking?

Lumens Market does the same thing but sales are automatically transferred from Binance or Stellar Blockchain. Lumens Market is for vendors to host a store and on DAM multiple vendors can sell.
