Hi,
I'm unsure if I totally undestood multi-sig + asset issuance, maybe someone can help and share insights?
Here's my problem: public conditions about the MOBI token state that "There will only ever be 888 million MOBI."
However, browsing this page
we can see they have multi-sig set up on their issuing account with several accounts with a weight of 1. Therefore, weights can add up to 3 (with 3 signatures) which is sufficient for the payment op.
Hence, although the master signer has been nullified as one might expect to lock the total supply (the "w:0" line) I believe they still could issue new MOBI tokens if they wanted to.
To put this in perspective, you can compare the previous account with the HUG issuing account, which is clearly and simply locked up: via this page
Am I right about the fact that new MOBI can still be created yet, or deluded about the multi-sig functioning?
What could be the reasons for keepin multi-sig active on an issuing acc tied to a token supposed to exist in a limited quantity?
Thanks in advance!
Tom
