Yesterday we launched our website for UKa$ii (You-kashee), the cryptocurrency which will allow consumers to earn "cash-back" in the form of crypto-tokens, for cash spent. The platform is being built on Stellar.
Our focus is the Central / Southern Africa market and UKa$ii is targeted for launch beginning with Nigeria next year.
The parallel mission of UKa$ii is to support social initiatives and those less fortunate in the regions UKa$ii operates. As such, 5% of operating revenues (and ICO revenues) has been set aside for investment and participation in social causes.
It's been one hell of a learning experience since we started planning just over a year ago and continues to be so. So we decided we'd like to document the past and present in a series of blog posts in the hope that it may also be of benefit to others who are looking to utilise cryptocurrency as part of their business, launch an ICO or starting up any kind of business of their own.
