Can an Assets Name bee updated once trustlines have been established?

Hi All,
Im a bit confused regarding updating an Assets name after trustlines have been established.
Is it something that can be done? If so, will trustlines automatically be updated with updated info?

No, it's impossible. Assets are uniquely identified by asset_code, asset_issuer, and asset_type.

Appreciate the answer. I think I may have been not as clear of what I'd like to do. Chances are its the same answer but let provide more insight.

I set up asset and my current token/Asset name is in the format: Name What I want to do is update the my asset name in All Caps : NAME. I don't want to change anything else. When I set up name I didn't realize that some wallets have issues adding the asset as the format is not in all caps.

So I was just wondering if I can edit the name of the asset/token into all caps without affecting trustlines.

I may have missed this answer in the liink you provided.

You can't change the code of the asset. Tokens with asset code NAME and Name are two separate assets. All wallets will display separate balance records for those tokens.

The easiest option to change asset name is to setup a market order buying Name tokens for NAME at the 1:1 rate, and urge your users to exchange old tokens for new ones.

I'd recommend you to read the asset issuance guide first to prevent any other possible problems in the future.
