Project title: The Company Name is Ternio and the product is a wallet/VISA card.

Summary: Ternio's Payment Card Platform [BlockCard] supports multiple coins and is the only company enabling users to hold crypto until the point of sale. Other cards take a user’s crypto, converts to FIAT, and places the USD value on a card which is the equivalent of buying a gift card. https://getblockcard.com/

Goals: The BlockCard currently works worldwide and can be used by United States residents. We will be expanding to 26 European countries in Q4 2019. Ternio wants to scale the program globally so users in all countries can use BlockCard.

Description: Ternio's BlockCard operates on the VISA payment network for United States residents. BlockCard accounts support multiple cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), BitcoinCash (BCH), Litecoin (LTC), Stellar Lumens (XLM), Basic Attention Token (BAT), Ternio (TERN) as well as most stable tokens. Users holding those cryptocurrencies can deposit them in their BlockCard account. Users are then able to spend their funds anywhere in the world VISA is accepted.

BlockCard uses TERN as the default spending mechanism on BlockCard. TERN is an XLM based asset: https://stellar.expert/explorer/public/asset/TERN-GDGQDVO6XPFSY4NMX75A7AOVYCF5JYGW2SHCJJNWCQWIDGOZB53DGP6C

This means all BTC, ETH, etc. deposits are converted to TERN as a buy order on the Stellar Decentralized Exchange (SDEX), bringing more asset holders to the Stellar ecosystem.

Ternio is also working with other companies to use the BlockCard platform for their own currencies. This means the Stellar Development Foundation could release a "Stellar Card" that uses XLM (instead of TERN) as the spendable digital asset. The Future:
BlockCard already works as a FIAT off-ramp for users. They can spend crypto anywhere VISA is accepted or go to an ATM to withdraw. We are also in process of building a FIAT on-ramp that will enable consumers to link their bank accounts directly to the BlockCard platform to purchase crypto. 😎

Physical cards are now available to order!

If you're already using the virtual BlockCard, then login to your account and click "upgrade" to get the plastic card. Note: you will now have both a virtual card and physical card.

If you haven't registered for BlockCard before then:
1) Visit getblockcard.com to create your account.
2) Deposit funds in your account (over $150 recommended)
3) Click "spend" to start the KYC process
4) Upon passing KYC you will instantly get the virtual card and have the physical card mailed to you in 7-10 days.

Here is an example of what the card inserts look like when a user receives their BlockCard. These are customized for all our clients. For Example: If we did a Stellar version, this would have Stellar Logo, Colors, etc (in addition to making XLM the default spendable asset).

You are doing a really great job for making Stellar outside of the development sandbox. Maybe you are getting few comments here right now, but I’m sure it’s just a matter of time and the belief of many here is that you will get to the end and present really working cards with XLM.

In fact, we all are watching your development here, even if this is not happening so publicly .. but at galactictalk, developers primarily discuss the technology layer and it’s not always interesting for everyone to follow real projects that work directly with users.

This does not mean that people here are not happy with your growth. Your service is an important part for adopting Stellar XLM. Although this is not so large-scale, we believe in you! Keep moving forward. And good luck with this round. Passions run high))

Scopuly To be clear, BlockCard is live in the United States today. We have a lot of people posting videos/pictures of them using their card. BlockCard will be going live in 31 European countries in Q4 2019, and launching globally Q1 2020 (with the exception of US/UK sanctioned countries). BlockCard is not just an idea, but rather a working product. Please see the medium post above for everything we've done to date and what is coming in the next 3-6 months.
