Pi Network and Confirmation of whether it actually is using stellar protocol.

Hi, Everyone.
Good evening, hope everyone here is well.
I am writing this post about The Pi Network.
As this community is about the projects and services related to or using stellar protocol, I am wrting to confirm that, Is Pi Network, a new token/currency getting popularity among masses these days, claims in thier white paper to have used the Staller protocol or a bit altered version of stellar protocol.

I would like to address every senior and expert level personalities to confirm me about it whether it is an authentic and valid aurgument in thier white paper.

I would like you everyone to authentically confim us that is Pi Network really a token developed on stellar blockchain?

If yes, then why is it not listed in the all projects section on the official website of the Stellar.org?
Need expert level and authentic answers.

Pi Network is not a token being developed on SCP. Pi Network is a coin that uses the other type of consensus algorithms and is based on the Stellar Consensus Protocol (SCP)

Pi’s consensus algorithm builds atop SCP. The main contribution of Pi over the existing Stellar consensus deployment is that it introduces the concept of a trust graph provided by the Pi Contributors as information that can be used by the Pi nodes when they are setting up their configurations to connect to the main Pi network.
