Hi guys, I'm planning to tokenize a company and I think stellar is good for that but the question if I use stellar I can't use my tokens as a collateral for lending platform or I can't buy coverage for them since all of these platforms are available only on Ethereum! is there any chance to bridge stellar tokens to Ethereum?

I've been discussing the possibility on my twitter lately (@MasterGrimaldi). I won't "shill here" but my last two days I've given a lot of speculation and explained with actual data. I have no definitive insider info that told me my speculative research is true... But I have a feeling that day is coming. There's already an anchor where you get 1:1 value swapping Ethereum USDC (without paying ANY fees) and get = amount in Stellar USDC deposited to your stellar account. www.usdcswap.com by Ultra Stellar LLC is where you do that. The only way you'd pay ETH fees is if you chose to withdraw your USDC on Stellar for Ethereum USDC (which, who the heck would want to do that after getting Ultra Stellar to pay your fees so as to transact the asset on Stellar Network where we all know fees barely exist 😉 )

As previously mentioned the concept in the Stellar ecosystem is called "anchoring"
Anyone can be an anchor by providing an ERC20 on/off ramp to swap their Stellar "wrapped" version of the token with the Ethereum version

BlockShangerous at first they were also synonymous with "Gateway" per Ripple. Then stellard migrated to stellar-core. I think jed actually did make this Issue himself where he refers to a (still Open) "Bitcoin Bridge" https://github.com/stellar/stellar-client/issues/753

So the openness of the open network extends to terminology no surprise.
