I've had a business idea in my head for the last few months and finally decided to put it on paper in the form of a business plan. The more I work on it the more confident I feel about it's applicability in the online content industry.
The idea is to create an app and browser extension that utilizes the fast transaction speeds and micro-enabled payments that cryptocurrencies provide, to facilitate ad-hoc micro-payments to online content providers (news sites, magazines, etc.) instead of forcing people to purchase costly monthly subscriptions. It puts the user in charge by allowing them to pre-fund the app and instantly perform one-time payments of $0.0x amount of XLM (specifically chosen for their low transaction fees and scalability) to content providers in the exchange of access to one article. Think of SatoshiPay, but focused on subscriber based websites and allowing credit card pre-funding capability.
