Warning: Lobstr wallet

Hi all, I noticed (confirmed by lobstr developers) that (sometimes?) lobstr doesn't set the memoText into transaction, even if specified by UI.

I would warn you to not use lobstr wallet for funding exchanges, and for every other transaction that NEED a memo

The lobstr team is investigating Actually is happened from iOS app (I don't know if from web they have the same problem)

I sent some lumen to Kraken. Because the memo is missing, I contacted Kraken support - they told me I have to prove that the sender address is mine by transferring another small amount of lumen from the same address.

So I tried to enter the memo this time in Lobstr, but there isn't such an option in the iOS app. So I have to wait for this feature and cannot access my lumens until Lobstr supports the memo field.

Lobstr didn't see development in years. A better option is to transfer it to another wallet that supports the memo field.

@"ChrLipp"#6052 That sounds awful. Hopefully they do an update soon but I think this thread is a warning for people not to use this wallet for the moment.

Sorry about that, I want to confirm that we've identified the problem and fixed the issue with memo - now it's always passed to the network.

In case anyone had a problem with memo not sent - please write to our support and we'll help to address all the issues.

Hey can you help me? Lobstr doesn't recognize my wallet's username, how do I re-access my account? (I have private key, recovery code, email, password and wallet adress)

Just a note, Be aware, when you use this wallet, a minumum of 20 Lumen needs to stay in the wallet and cannot be send to another address.

E.g. if you have 100 Lumen, you can only send 80.

So did I just lost my whole withdrawal I made from Binance to the IOS wallet Lobstr. Im freaking out. Is there anything I can do?

I'm having the same issue. Did a withdrawal from Bittrex --> LOBSTR over an hour ago and it hasn't showed up.

i deposited from binance to lobstr... Transaction has completed in binance but deposit doesn't show on lobstr. How can i solve this?

Use your private key with another wallet

And check the transaction using https://stellar.expert
