Wallet for a long term investment - or how to store you cryptos for the LTI?

Hello, Guys and Gals. I'm putting my Lumens (as well as other cryptos) for a long term investment (we are talking like 5-6 years). I'm slowly acquiring my crypto portfolio as I'm new to the crypto world. What do I need to do? I'm familiar with a private/secret keys. But what else do I need to do other than making sure these keys are safe? Basically, how do you store your cryptos if you are for LTI?

Yeah I just got one of these https://www.ledgerwallet.com/r/a771?path=/products/ledger-nano-s2 the other day and I love it. Doesn't have support for lumens yet but expecting it sooner than later. Offline storage is definitely the way to go. Worth every penny.

Write your keys on a paper, store them in safe, dry place. (called cold wallet)
