As many of you I have also fell for the Stellar phishing scam. I lost all my funds, a lot of money, couldn't even breathe after I acknowledge the fraud, so stupid for falling for this after many years of working with cryptos (was holding BTC since 2013...).
The point is that you shouldn't feel sorry about it or feel bad with yourself, both LEDGER SAS and the Stellar Foundation and fully liable for a data breach lawsuit. There is literally no other way the scammers might have get our emails.
On the last month I´ve been working hard along with several lawyers in the UK, US and France to take action on this case and litigate against this 2 companies. We are preparing a class action lawsuit in the US against The Stellar Foundation and in France against Ledger SAS for data breach, distress and financial loss.
Regarding the funds recovery, we are taking different approaches: we are actively working with the cybercrime police of Armenia (the phishing website was hosted in Armenia www.stellar.org.am), although their IP was hosted in servers from Russia, Lithuania and Malaysia, it will definitely take some time, but we are getting closer to the thieves.
The more of us that join the case, the more chances we will have to recover the Lumens or settle a compensation with Ledger and the Stellar Foundation. If you want to join please PM me.
