Sending stellar assets to random email addresses

If I want to send XLM to someone who has never used Stellar before, it would appear that I can email anyone XLM via using a Lobstr federated address. (http://www.lobstr.co) Lobstr then emails the person with a link where they can setup a Lobstr wallet and claim the funds.

However, what if I want to email someone my token that I issued on Stellar?

If I try to send it via email to a lobstr federated address, it says the receiver does not trust the asset.

Obviously if the receiver has to trust me first, it defeats the entire point, because I'm trying to send to people who have never used Stellar before.

I have the feeling that it's not possible with any Stellar wallets currently? Does anyone know if it's possible?

also, I realize that sending a stellar issued token to a new address would also require at least 1.5 lumens to be sent so the account can be properly funded and trust line added.

Have you tried to ask Lobstr's support?

For them to receive lumens from you they would have to have an account to receive them in. You could send your friends, or whomever you want to send xlm to, an email instructing them to download a wallet
