Mobius Network What is CrystalBall

CrystalBall is a DApp built on the Mobius Network. The principle is easy: you must guess the evolution or the price (depends of the game's type) of a cryptocurrency in a given time to win, you have to enter the amount of credits you want to bet - the more you bet, the more you'll earn if you win.

Games are multiplayer, meaning that each time someone make a guess, its bet is added to the pot. At the end of the game, winners get back their bet + get a percentage of the losing pot depending of how much they bet.

There are two type of games atm: Binary game: you have to guess if the price will be higher/lower at the end of the game. Price guess: you have to guess what will be the price of the cryptocurrency at the end of the game. (excluding decimals), this game type is hard but if you win you are more likely to win MUCH more than binary games.

Games period vary from 2 hours to 24 hours. Register on the website to learn more.

How can I earn Mobius Tokens / Cryptos

During november (mobius token sale), you will be able to exchange your CrystalBall's credits to Mobius tokens and more cryptos depending of our funds (likely going to be Stellar Lumens, Dogecoin, Bitcoin...)

Suggestions:

The dates aren't exactly easy to read for humans, looks like it's a timestamp?

I can see my previous bets I placed, for example ETH to go under, but I can't see the value. Eg. under $305. I can't remember what the value was from yesterday for example. This is all on mobile but probably the same on desktop.

Hey, dates are timestamp converted to local time with javascript directly through the browser - so that's either a bug or perhaps your javascript is disabled?

Not sure to understand the second thing, do you mean you can't see how much you bet, or the reference price?

Ah I'm on mobile so maybe it's related to javascript, makes sense I guess to be able to get the local time for the user.

For the second point, here's what I see when I bet:

So I can see I placed a bet for it to go down, but down from what? It'd be nice to see the price you want it to go up or down from, eg. 310 dollars.

Yes, withdrawals will be enabled shortly after I received the MOBI - sales start on nov 8, and ends either dec 8 or once all the MOBI were sold, so I cannot give a precise date :confused:

I've heard that these free mobi can expire after the public sale. Do you know what we can do to stop them expiring? Is it as simple as moving them to Crystal ball?

Yup, not sure about the credits expiration but if that’s true, then the credits must be spent on a dapp. So yup, depositing on Crystalball can be a solution :smile:
