One question, please: How do I buy lumens on kraken without having to buy bitcoins first? I want to use Euros...

They removed this option recently. Now you always need to buy BTC first.

all right, thanks for your quick response... Do I have to buy one entire bitcoin (I cannot afford one) I just wanted to buy stellar lumens for like 150 Euros. I ve therefore tried to buy 0,0002 bitcoin (or something like that)... unfortunately it did not work... :frowning:

You can definitely buy something like 0.03 BTC and then around 9000 XLM for this btc.

Soon it should be possible to use the Tempo anchor in the EU to buy EURT and you can trade them directly on the Stellar decentralised exchange for Lumens. But it will take still a few months to bring liquidity to the exchange..

I hope you have been fast enough. As you see, there is a big boom this morning (10/16), an increase of almost 100%, after the IBM / Stellar Lumens partenership announcement at SIBOS.

The Tempo anchor in the EU looks promising, and I would like to know more how it will work.

I don't use kraken, always down when I need it

i prefer to buy ltc on coinbase (in euro) and then sent them wherever I want (polo/bitrex)
