The SDF will need to decide if it deserves a reward. I will leave it here, just renamed the title to be more descriptive. @jes Does stellar take a spnashot on a specific timestamp of the Lumens inflation addresses and distributes the Lumens accordingly? Or does it depend how long you point to an address? I'm asking because I see that in your source code there is a file that is run every 5min, is this necessary?

Is it still working? I voted for xlmpool using Stellar Wallet more than a week before, but i don't see any changes in the Stellar Lumens amount.

Stellar should have a delegated vote system, in the way an account could vote another, sending their own votes and the votes of everybody is voting you. That way would be easier to break monopolies.

Inflation is paid out weekly based on the amount of Stellar you have in your wallet. If you have more you get more, less you get less, none you get nothing. In that sense it's like interest.
