Viability of Stellar's Giveaway Model

The previous giveaway was met with so many issues. Exchanges not being away to give out coins, some wallets couldn't get them, lots of people didn't know ahead of times, and some people found ways around getting more coins.

And that was only 15% of the total coin given out. There's still about 80% of coin that needs to be given out.

How on earth is Stellar going to survive more of these giveaways without it's price tanking to almost nothing?

We all know what happened to the price after the previous 15 billion giveaway.

You are comparing one extremely volatile asset to another extremely volatile asset. This doesn't make any sense.

I agree with you about the volatility But if Stellar is up to 500% vs fiat, should thanks bitcoin instead itself Following your logic, there is no difference in investing into bitcoin or lumens or any other crypto

Look at ether / litecoin or even digibyte etc... they increase their value vs bitcoin and then exponentially grown vs fiat

If a cryptocurrency wants to increase his value, should increase the ratio vs bitcoin

Nobody should look at exchange vs fiat (imho)

If you look at litecoin is the same, no big change to the price in satoshis.

The truth is that everything is following BTC.

You are comparing 3years for litecoin If you check the same range (1year) you will notice a good increment

What are you trying to prove? If you pick a specific timeframe for a specific currency it performs better than Stellar? Of course you can make it sound like it is a bad investment.

But if you put USD into Stellar 1+ years ago you have made probably an enormous profit. If you put BTC into Stellar the profit is much smaller, but it's still not a bad investment.

Anyway, I love Stellar, but unfortunately is not (at the moment) the right choice for anything else than long term (imo)

There is no right choice for not long-term. It's just a gamble. You can't time the market.
