What tools do you use for trading?

How do you make your informed decisions about when to buy and when to drop? This question is aimed at day traders, I guess. I know many people here might be in for the long term - so am I, but for now I am using the daily volatility for some day trading with XLM, LTC, ETC and hold ETH for long (since March btw). I am diving more and more deeply into the topic/ trading. Have you heard about Jim Frederickson? This is not a commercial for him, but I am following his reviews for quite some time. Unfortunately he stopped blogging on a daily basis and offers privately held courses for around 3k or 4k USD. Being a student, this is still a lot of money - despite the possible outcomes. What are your general thoughts on him, the trading school and where to learn more about ("geometric") trading?
