We’d like to present our Lobstr wallet for the next build challenge (October 2017).
Lobstr.co is an advanced platform for managing Stellar cryptocurrency in the market.
It is available as web, iOS and Android applications.
Our wallet allows people to send and exchange lumens with family and friends anywhere in the world instantly.
We have reached 10,000 users, and we want to provide the best experience and a stable and safe place to store your lumens.
Let us give you a quick update on what we’ve been focused on during the last several months.
First of all, and one of the most important updates - we’ve been improving our customer support!
We’ve brought a new member on board - a support specialist, who is managing our customer support (in English only at the moment). On average, we are processing about 50 support requests from our users each week.
The next important point on which we were focused - security.
We made a lot of security improvements here:
- We integrated Cloudflare to have the ability to limit DDoS, and rate-limit sign in requests, and quickly block bot IP address subnets.
- We’ve added ability to change passwords.
- We are now sending email updates in case of we detect a failed login attempt to any account.
- We have started tracking all login attempts history (IP addresses, user agents, app platform) and we’ve made that information available to our users - see “Access History” page (for now in Web version only).
- We’ve integrated several CAPTCHAs to discourage bots from trying to bruteforce passwords.
We would also like to announce that we plan to continue our course on improving security - 2FA is definitely something that's coming soon.
Mobile applications were improved as well.
Android app was fully reworked from the ground up with increased stability, using new solutions and frameworks.
We support iOS 11 and Android 8 devices. New iPhone X layout is also supported.
Few other fixes and improvements were done, like updated push notifications, bug tracking and analytics systems.
A lot of features and updates are in the pipeline.
