I know we are a bit late to announce, but we want to share our project with the community.
For the next build challenge (submissions closing 15 Nov '17), Rehive aims to do a public beta launch of our Stellar Service. It has been a long process for us to make Rehive super robust for powering interesting fintech use cases. By activating the Stellar Service in Rehive, anyone can easily build their fintech apps on top of Stellar without re-inventing the wheel. It is like activating a plugin for Wordpress.
Rehive is a platform for building fintech apps. Similar to how Shopify makes it easy to build and e-commerce store, Rehive makes it easy to start a fintech business. Rehive Services is a framework to extend the core features and integrations of the Rehive Paltform. We've developed a Stellar Service that is the backbone to the Luuun app (www.luuun.com). The next phase for us is to make it easy for other businesses to use the Stellar Service to build their products on Stellar, by using Rehive to accelerate time to market.
Next features for the service includes a public beta launch, support for multi-asset and Stellar Marketplace integrations. The first step for us is to make it easy to for businesses to launch the "Coinbase" for lumens and Stellar assets. After the next phase we want to help businesses to build remittance products by leveraging the built in Stellar Marketplace.
As a disclosure to the community, Rehive has submitted the same deliverable to the previous build challenge. In the meantime we've been working super hard to make Rehive Platform more robust. We have been working on the Stellar Service and it can be activated, but we need to create a guide to help users understand how to configure the system.
