darn I missed out since I use coinbase and missed the deadline since I didn't pay enough attention to the timezone. When is the giveaway for XRP holders?

I followed yesterday the giveaway on stellar's slack channel.

And @bartek said here:

19:52 Bartek: coinbase should work now

So maybe it is possible to claim Lumens if you use coinbase. Ask on slack again, just to make sure.

There is still no announcement for the XRP giveaway, but this time only a small amount of Lumens (3B ) was given away to bitcoin holders to test the process. There will be a much bigger Lumens giveaway (17B ) for bitcoin holders after this one.

The problem with Coinbase is that they send users' BTC to cold storage. So even with a signed message you can claim much less than you own or nothing.

I'm not sure you will have to ask them but I think they will just put them in your poloniex account
