Lumens Market for Upcoming Build Challenge

Hi,

I've been working on a project and think it might be good to submit for the upcoming build challenge.

The site is running on test payment accounts right now and transfers disabled.

Do you think this is a project that would be good for the challenge? If so then what features do you think would be the best to add?

I will be working on code live on this site so you might notice errors. I will eventually setup another site for testing.

The idea is not bad, what I fail to understand is why you have different items for buying lumens when you could easily have just one input box (or spinner) so the user enters whatever amount they want to buy. Then the selling point would be to easily convert from fiat to lumens via credit cards or cryptos without having to register in an exchange, but I don't know if credit cards would allow that or how to deal with charge backs. Still an idea worth exploring.

Charge backs are a big concern since the Lumens are sent once the transaction is complete. Without registering I could see a lot of stolen credit cards being used.

Having the different items for buying lumens is kind of stupid but I thought it looked better than just have 1 item. I will have to think of what else can be added to the store.

Would looks more meaningfull with a wider spread, like 10 - 50 - 200 - 1000 or so.

I especially like the clear design along to this forum.

I already saw that on another website and I think it's quite newbie friendly as you can see the costs without further Clic or calculation.

It would be a good place to put some other tokens; and act like an easy entry for ICOs: this is a much needed thing !

All the point of ICO is to be crypto currency based which offer more freedom by bypassing regulation; So a third-party able to enable easy FIAT payment would be precious.

However, I wonder how you're going to handle the legal side of it?

It's using the testnet now and you can send yourself Lumens ?

Just add Lumens to your cart and checkout with fake info.
