Scala Stellar SDK

A port of the Java SDK to Scala is in progress at https://github.com/Synesso/scala-stellar-sdk

A Scala developer would choose this SDK over the Java SDK because:
- Options, not nulls
- Trys, not exceptions
- Futures for all network operations
- No builder patterns, just case classes
- Explicit type hierarchies instead of meaningful primitives
- Test coverage: Generative testing using scalacheck with the goal of 100% coverage
- Perform network operations on the terminal through the Scala REPL

It is still in early stages, with the goal of being fully functional mid-March.

The Scala SDK v0.1.0 has been released.

This version enables transaction submission and ~95% of Horizon querying capabilities.

The SDK project uses generative testing as well as integration testing against the Stellar test network and currently has 99% test coverage.

The API is designed with Scala developers in mind and at this early stage is open to change based on real-world use. Feedback is welcomed. If you are familiar with Scala, I kindly invite you to take a look and tell me what you think.
