I'm'a little confused about using the stargazer wallet.

Good Morning.

 My name is Andre. I down loaded a Stargazer wallet on my windows computer and I'm a little confused?

I'm aware of using a Memo when sending XLM to an exchange. However, in the memo section it has an option of sending none, text, hash, return or just writing down the numbers from the exchange That I'm trying to send it too. Does anyone one know which option to use? I'm trying not to lose my money. Thanks.

bellingerandre The memo can have different types. Poloniex and Kraken use type ID, but I think other exchanges use TEXT.

bkolobara Thanks for responding. I'm using binance. It gives you all those options. I just don't know which one to choose. I'm going to have to test it using a little XLM. Thanks again!!?

Sorry about the confusion.

I have no idea about how to make it less confusing, without explicitly trying to figure out what memo types the exchanges are using, and using that as default values. There is a list like that, but it's ultimately a losing game, since exchanges can pop up anywhere at anytime, and they might change the scheme they are using, without giving any notice.
