Happy Friday -
Wanted to give an update on this process as it's the end of the second week here. Support notifications have gone out, but in a very poetic twist -- You may recall from the announcement: "We’ve also reworked our KYC process to expedite the distribution process."

Well, the new KYC implementation is being very Shakespearean at the moment. It should fingers crossed be sorted out by next week, but before sending the claim information to SBC awardees - we want to make sure everything works as smoothly as possible. If you have won an SBC#7 award and not received a notification - please be patient just a little longer.

    Hi there, first of all thanks for the awesome opportunity to participate in this challenge, also congratulations to the winners of it.


    @StellarZac The KYC is not working properly here, i sent multiple times the KYC, tried with passport, ID Card, multiple images and i always receive the same error, any help would be appreciated.

    Also i would love to know about the feedback email since it's important for us for see in what things we should focus for have a good foundation.

    Same problem here with french passport, although the message error give no clue why it's failing.

      I won some rewawrd but, I still didnt get any email or something ..

      MisterTicot same story here with a NL passport, did you figure anything out yet? I also tried with my drivers license, and I tried with a different face picture.

      It's weird because I think Kraken or Coinbase used the same or a similar system, and it worked fine.

        They seem a bit busy with other things so i guess we will receive a reply soon

        Definitely been a bit busy around here. We're working on several website updates / processes / clarity items. My absence has been related to making sure all these SBC items are taken care of accurately.

        If you're having issues with the KYC, sending an email out to that email is helpful. If you haven't received a response - you likely will before the end of the week. These are being reviewed and some people may need to rescan or retake a photo.

        If you've completed the KYC successfully and filled out the form with the address - you are likely already in the pipeline batch for distribution.

        If you haven't received an email and you've won an award - please PLEASE send us at email sbc(at)stellarDOTorg or you can send me a message on KB or Twitter.

        If you're on that list of community participation winners and haven't been contacted - please send an email as well.
