How to create Stellar 2.0 aka Interstellar?

This might sound daft, and I am doing this to feed my curiosity.

Lets say that the Stellar Blockchain doesn't exist, and instead of Jed I came up with this stellar (pun intended (copied from somewhere)) idea of creating something exactly similar to present day Stellar Blockchain.

How would I have done that?

Could anyone take some time to explain everything I need to know and do, starting from network, programming etc.

dmajumder4292 Step 1: Take 10 to15 years, learning how to program well. Not being sarcastic. Jeb has been putting out decentralized programs for years! Way back when it took 5 minutes to download an mp3 song.

Thanks for responding Blackicicle . Jokes apart, my problem area right now is that I have to create a private stellar network, with 4 ec2 instances as nodes. Can you help with that?

I know little about stellar, but I do not know anything about how the handshaking process happens.

And I have previously started a private network using a docker image, will a docker image be sufficient for the above mentioned job or do I have to download the stellar core into my local system?

dmajumder4292 I'm just learning myself tbh, so I cant help. ? there are a lot of smart people around, however in my experience the ones that can help usually are too busy doing their own thing.

If I understand you correctly, you wish to create your own "standalone" Stellar network, and not to write a new implementation. While I haven't tried it myself, it should be pretty easy - you just need to set up your own servers running the existing software (both stellar-core and horizon) and configure them to trust one another.
