  • We are considering moving our project for financial inclusion to Stellar.

Hi team. I am Ed Rodrigues, blockchain entrepreneur from Brazil and founder of http://www.Bonnum.Network . Bonnum is a crypto wallet designed for financial inclusion. Our wallet is special because it works on older phones, Feature phones and no phones at all (through smartcards). We also have in our roadmap, building LocalCoin, a P2P local marketplace so users can buy and sell locally.

We are considering migrating from EOS to Stellar. Please, do you have any grants or investment to finance new projects?

    Hi edrodrigues,

There are multiple programs to support development on Stellar. The most known is the Stellar Build Challenge where 4 times a year the SDF awards project built on Stellar. If you keep improving your project you can participate multiple times. This is ideal for library/tool developers and smaller projects.

If you are building something that requires bigger financial support you can also apply for the Stellar Partnership Grant Program where you can get up to $2 million USD.

Of course there is also the option of seeking more traditional angel/vs investment, but there is already a lot information about this on the internet. If you want to get investors interested it's best to write about your project and get people excited.

bkolobara Hi. Thanks for the answer. When will it be the next Stellar Build Challenge. We are working on a cripto wallet interface through WhatsApp which will make crypto much more accessible in poor countries like Venezuela.
