Just knowing you used unity to do this gets my approbation, i have to suffer to program on it like 10% of my time, not the most stable and well designed api free of bugs out there, a pain when you spend other 70% of the time programming in Qt
I know it is a very early version, but i would comment what i see in the last version i tried
EQ keys doesn't work, neither ZX
On systems with mouse you should try to implement a movement with the mouse like in RTS games, it feels more natural. Move mouse to the sides to move camera slowly
Resources list, if it is only to check them, they icons could be smaller, fill the top or group them by origin in two or three lines.
To build things, i would do like in the settlers II , go into build mode, then you click the hex and the options for that tile appear, while on build mode, tooltips appear to recognize what type of building you can build in each hex.
I know you aim mobiles, but i miss movement on the screen, like a bit of wind effect or time passing. Where are the rabbits running around the trees? Yeees i know it is early state and it is not settlers II 😛
GUIs in unity is a painlines describing what you want. Basic interface for debug is fine, to get something as someone wants is horrible. I suggest to investigate alternatives.
