Stargazer issues

Hi all,
I am very new to all of this, so I hope I am in the right place!!.
I have had a stargazer wallet now for a long time, but have only held XLM in there and have not done much. I have successfully sent and deposited XLM before into this wallet, but now it won't let me send any amount of XLM to another wallet.
Can anyone please advise?

StellarRT There are currently some issues with sending XLM in Stargazer.

I would recommend you to install a new wallet, like https://solarwallet.io/ and when you are creating an account select the option "Import Existing". There you enter your secret key, starting with an S. Make sure to never share this key with anyone.

To access this secret key you should open Stargazer and click on this button in the upper right corner. Then select "Advanced" -> "Export Account". Now you should be able to see the long key starting with an S. If you double click on it you will copy it.

If there is no secret key shown, you will need to first remove the password from your Stargazer account.

bkolobara Hi, My stargazer wallet will not allow me to cancel my password protection. When I go to remove password option, It asked me to put in PW but then it gives me 2 options, 1. Cancel 2. Ok. But the ok options is kinda highlighted, when I hit ok nothing happens and when I hit cancel it just goes back to it being a protected password. Also when I hit advance, then export acct it only gives me a QR code no secret key.
Hope you can help me? Thank you🤔

I hit the settings button than the advanced then the export acct. but I have a QR code but no key starting with S. Why would the secret key not be showing, just the QR code?

Hi bkolobara,
Hope you are well. I am still having trouble with stargazer. I have followed your instructions but when I try and import my account from the old Stargazer into the new Solar wallet, it tell me in the new Sola wallet I can't import the seed twice. I have Screen shots but don't know how to send with this post.

StellarRT Do you have multiple accounts/seeds in Stargazer? If you already imported the seed, it should be showing already you account balance.

bkolobara it was so many months ago I don't even remember how I try to restore the wallet when transferring all my apps to the new phone. I don't remember the wallet asking me for my backup phrase but if it did I had it and imported the seed.

Sandysings19 The secret key is probably not showing because you have it password protected.

The OK option will only get highlighted once you enter the correct password. Maybe you used another password for the wallet or missed a letter?

Ok, that helps to understand why it's a dull highlight color. Will try to work on this issue again. Also every time I try to send funds everything else seems to be working until I get all the way to the last step and it constantly says address not registered need to activate by sending one xlm when I know I already have more than one xlm in that wallet?🤪

Yes, now I can see the private key, thank you bkolobara. So now what do I do with that secret key again? I want to export the funds out to wallet in new phone. Do I copy that key into new phone to export funds out?

Or should I try to send funds from wallet in old phone to the Solar wallet I also have created to try and get these funds back. They ask in that wallet for the private key. 🤔

hello my friend when i past the address and write memo and put the number of XLM i dont have OK buttom to send

seyed1358 Hi there friend. Assuming you are using the Stargazer wallet, you have to fill in where it says "recipient address" otherwise you can not send xlm. Memo I believe is just for your personal use, I never put anything in memo myself. I have had a lot of problems with this wallet, also where ever you are sending xlm, that address must have at least 1 xlm in it or you won't be able to send it, at least that has been my experience.
