Lowi I don't think this would work. I opened my company in Munich, Germany and I can only pay employees in EUR. You also need to pay taxes for them and health insurance and you can't calculate this in XLM.
Apart from this, running a company is super hard and you really don't want to deal with "virtual money". Luckily, the stellar network allows anchors to issue EUR, USD, etc. on stellar and companies like Tempo are doing exactly this. I think that most people who just now got interested in stellar are not even aware that stellar is a decentralised exchange and that this is the area where it will provide the most value. You can send XLM to someone and this person receives EUR in their bank account through an anchor. The possibilities are limitless, that's the beauty of stellar.
At the end of the day we want to solve real problems for real people and not raise awareness of virtual money.
