Title:
Answerly - Answerly - Rewarding the users for sharing information
Summary:
Answerly is a Q/A platform that allows the users to earn crypto rewards for adding high-quality answers on different questions.
Category:
Applications, Tools & Infrastructure
Goals:
Our goal is to build the most advanced Q/A platform that allows the users to make part-time or even full-time income. There are a number of other crypto-based projects that allow users to earn rewards for adding content. However, the user's earnings on those platforms solely rely upon absurd factors such as upvote count, amount of crypto locked in their wallets, etc. In such a scenario, users with a lesser number of followers find it impossible to make any noteworthy amount of rewards. We believe that the best answers should be judged by the quality of the content instead of the number of upvotes it has received (since these metrics can easily be manipulated). Therefore, we're working on an algorithm that would determine the best answer on any particular question by taking into account 18 different factors, preventing any sort of possibility of gaming the system.
Our other goal is to attract non-crypto users to our platform and contribute to increasing the overall adoption of cryptocurrencies. We believe that this can only be possible if the rewarding and withdrawal system is made simple and easy to understand for people who have no background knowledge and experience in dealing with cryptocurrencies. That's the reason we chose to issues our token (ANSR) on the stellar blockchain. We can easily utilize the existing services like Lobstr, Tempo, Stellar based exchanges, etc to achieve what we need.
Description:
Answerly is a Q/A platform that allows the users to earn crypto rewards for adding high-quality answers on different questions.
The basic concept of Answerly is to reward the users for posting well-explained and accurate answers to different questions. Answerly allows users to earn rewards for two different types of activities:
a. Posting Questions: Users will receive fixed rewards for posting questions.
b. Posting Answers: Answer rewards would vary depending upon the user’s level on the platform.
Once the user has reached the minimum withdrawal threshold, he can easily withdraw his earnings on his Stellar wallet.
Stellar wallet: Upon withdrawing his earnings, the user will receive an email along with other important instructions. To make this process smooth, we’re utilizing the services of a very well-known Stellar based project called Lobstr. Using this service would help us in the following areas:
A. Eliminate the need of depositing lumens for Stellar wallet activation.
B. Eliminate the need to manually issuing a trustline for ANSR.
C. Simplifying the process of withdrawing funds and trading it on the exchange.
D. Secure airdrop
Note: We've discussed things like Revenue model, Spam controlling, User levels, Answerly Pro, etc in our whitepaper. The link to the whitepaper is mentioned below. I highly recommend that you check that out.
Timeline:
We've been working on this project since Jan 2019 and have come a long way. Currently, we’re in the beta-testing phase. Here's the list of things that we are planning to pull-off within the next 8-12 months:
- Marketing and SEO - Starts immediately after beta-testing
- Implementation of all planned features - June 2021
- Answerly Pro - Aug 2021
- Best Answer and search algorithm - October 2021
- App launch - January 2022
Why do we require the funds
We are fully self-funded and so far we've spent a little over 18K USD on this project in 2 years. This money was utilized for:
- Development
- Designing
- Incorporating
- Explainer video
- Hosting
- 3rd party services
We require additional funds for the following things:
- Further development of Answerly and other projects by Answerly
- Hiring
- Marketing
- Market making for ANSR
- Listing on at least 3 decent exchanges
- 3rd party apps
How can Answerly be useful for the Stellar ecosystem
We plan to target people who have never been involved in cryptocurrencies in any way. This mostly includes bloggers and small and medium-sized online businesses. Since the users will be required to withdraw the earnings of their Stellar wallets, we believe that it will help in increasing the overall Stellar community.
ANSR token
ANSR tokens will be used for:
Rewarding the users for posting questions and answers on the platform
Upgrading user level
Tokenomics:
Supply: 10,000,000 ANSR
Symbol: ANSR
Price: 1 ANSR = 5 XLM
Reserved for the team: None
Airdrop: 120000 ANSR (1.2% supply)
Salaries: 380000 (3.8% supply)
Rewards: The remaining 95% tokens will be used solely for rewarding the users
Why did we decide to use Stellar blockchain to issue our Token
Fast transactions
Low transaction fees
Issuing trust: This is especially useful during an airdrop. It can filter out many fake participants.
Feeless DEX
Anchors
Path Payments: We plan to implement a system where the users withdraw ANSR tokens but receive XLM or USD on their Stellar wallets.
Some important things
We've also incorporated our company in the US (Delaware). You may check out the link to the incorporation document below.
Wait! There's more
We're working on a few more side projects that would eventually help us to build an entire ecosystem around blockchain. Our aim is to build these platform and then link them with all existing and future blockchain platforms by offering our free api.
Blockabuse
When it comes to decentralization and immutability, blockchain does solve a number of problems. It always best to have a complete control over your funds. However, as a matter of fact, blockchain also create a few new problems (mostly because it’s still in its infancy stage). Since there are only a few applications that promotes the idea of blockchain identity verification, this problem is used as an opportunity by the scammers across the globe.
Sure, there are a few platforms that allow users to report an address for scamming, fraud, blackmailing, and all other kinds of illegal stuff, but it leads to another problem because those platforms don’t necessarily require a proof to report the address.
Our aim is to provide free solution to for the users and companies to verify their blockchain addresses (BTC, ETH, XLM, LTC, etc.) by linking their accounts with Twitter as a proof of ownership. Based on this data, we’re creating a browser-based extension that allows to check which wallet address belongs to who.
Blockabuse will also provide a free API that could be integrated on any website/store/blog/app. Additionally, you can simply add a user’s twitter name to see his wallet addresses (if he has already connected his twitter account with blockabuse)
What problems does it solve?
- Minimizing blockchain based fraud/scams
- Identity verification
Possible use cases:
This can provide a ton of use-cases such as Decentralized equity market (similar to NYSE), Blockchain based review website (similar to trustpilot), Blockchain based p2p freelance marketplace (similar to fiverr) etc. The possibilities are endless. Personally, I believe that the best thing about blockabuse is that the reporter is required to add a transaction hash along with screenshots (as proof) in order to report an address.
In the end, everyone would be able to see which blockchain address has been reported, by whom (signing up with Twitter) and for what reason (screenshot proof). This application would serve for blockchain in a way that SSL serves for websites.
Project Timeline:
- Front end design (done)
- Html designs (in progress)
- Development (pending)
- Beta testing (pending)
- Launch (pending)

Peer-to-Peer exchange
What is it?
As the name highlights, it’s going to be a simple peer-to-peer crypto exchange (similar to localbitcoins and paxful) with some important additional features.
How does it work?
The user signs up to the platform using twitter and also verifies his account through SMS. He then looks up for crypto buyers/sellers (for 20 different cryptocurrencies) throughout the world. These sellers/buyers will be sorted according to the best rates offered.
The user initiates a trade with any buyer/seller on the platform. Funds his account with an equal amount of crypto (in case he’s the seller). As soon as the trade starts, both parties are given access to an encrypted messaging that allows file uploads (for uploading relevant screenshots of payment been made).
Here’s how p2p crypto exchanges currently work:
Bitcoin Seller ->Trade-> Bitcoin Buyer
Ethereum Seller ->Trade-> Ethereum Buyer
Here’s what we aim for:
{Bitcoin Seller|Ethereum Seller|XLM Seller} ->Trade & Swap (if required) -> {Bitcoin Buyer|Stellar Buyer|Litecoin Buyer}
What problems does it solve?
Let me start with sharing my personal experience. Somewhere in mid-2020 I wanted to buy XLM via p2p exchange. Moonpay and other similar services (that allow card payments) do offer a pretty simple and quick solution but unfortunately their services aren’t available everywhere (including my country).
For this reason, I had to go an alternate route of buying Bitcoin through peer2peer exchange. Since I’ve been in the crypto space for a few years, I knew exactly how it works. I bought the required amount of bitcoin and then swapped it into XLM. This solution came with 2 problems:
It took almost 1 hour for the trade to end (bitcoin is slow + additional time for swapping)
I had to cover the withdrawal fees + swapping fees.
Turns out, I paid a whooping 20% higher price than the actual market rate.
Now, this was just my personal hands-on experience on this. I realize that there are probably millions of crypto-enthusiasts around the world who need a more efficient method to buy and sell crypto.
Features:
0.25% commission from both parties (half of what you pay on other P2P exchanges)
Supports 20 different cryptocurrencies
Multi-chain swapping
API that allows other blockchain based projects to integrate this exchange on their website.

Front end design – Done
Html – Pending
Development – Pending
Beta testing – Pending
Launch – Pending

Blocktech Ventures
It’s an experimental blockchain based venture fund that would collect 0.5 ANSR from user’s earnings (upon withdrawal) from Answerly and invest in other blockchain based projects for a stake in that company.
Everything including the amount of Lumens in block tech ventures wallet, would be made public.

We've been working on this project since Jan 2019 and have come a really long way. We've just launched our Beta-testing phase but since the development is still in progress, you may come across a few bugs. Here's the list of things that we are planning to pull-off within the next 6-8 months:

- Answerly Pro - Sep 2020
- Professional redesign of desktop and mobile website - Dec 2020
- Marketing and SEO - Feb 2021
- Best Answer and search algorithm - March 2021
- App launch - June 2021
Why do we require the funds
So far we've spent a little over 12K USD on this project over the course of 18 months. This money was utilized for:
- Development
- Explainer video
- Incorporating
- Hosting
- SMS verification implementation
- Plagiarism checking, etc.
At this point, we need around 55K USD for the following things:
- Professional UI (Desktop web, mobile web and app) ~ 8K USD
- Further development ~ 20K USD (this includes complete development of Desktop and mobile web & apps)
- Content writers ~ 15K USD
- Hosting and other 3rd party apps ~ 10K USD
The reason we've not added any marketing budget is because, it would be an ongoing expense and would vary according to the stage we're at. We don't want to think a lot about marketing at this point
