So the technicalities of Stellar are all well and good but there is something crucial that Stellar lacks. Without it, Stellar could drown in the expanding ocean that is the cryptocurrency market. The thing Stellar should have, no, the thing Stellar MUST have is...A MASCOT!
Mascots are an important part of anything's identity. People recognize mascots and that recognition helps them distinguish one entity from another. Stellar is going to start making waves, and establishing a mascot would be a good first step.
What I propose is that Stellar hosts another competition of sorts. Let users submit their own mascot creations and concepts and determine a winner via a vote. After all, Stellar is a currency that's value is user dependent, isn't only fitting that its representation is user dependent as well?
