Distribution of Lumens

Since the aim of stellar is for ease in distribution of funds to underserve or unbanked. Why not include facilitating payments to businesses and merchants or even stores. In an unbanked society usually payments to business is a big and costly task the easier a business can received there payment there will be a steady streams of income from business and banks utilizing stellar lumens as a bridge to the bankless consumer. This can be attain by establishing stellar exchanges locally in a country I would suggest that instead of giving away the stellars its better to exchange with the consumers fiat and convert some of the fiat to dollars or bitcoin and use them to support a Solo stellar exchange where people would buy and exchange stellar only and will be named stellar exchange to further make the public aware of the stellar coin and its existence. An exchange that is FDIC backed dollar of the st cash accounts on the stellar exchanges. Just my 2 cents Im currently a stellar holder with 50k worth of lumen in my acct i believe we can be the next bitcoin someday.

Also i forgot to point out that facilitating ease of payment to basic utilities in a foreign country such as philippines india europe might be a big incentive for people to buy lumens and directly send it to those lumen accepting companies that provide basic utilities to there supported families . Basic bills such as electricity phone bill water
debit or credit card.

JimCam The aim of stellar is not to distribute funds to the underserved and unbanked population. The goal is to become the internet of money so everyone can have a low cost bank account. This will reduce the number of underserved and unbanked people. There is no magic that will transform every poor person into a rich one.

With the mandate SDF decided already a long time ago how the Lumens are going to be distributed. I don't think they will be changing this plan now.

Stellar is so much more than bitcoin. It has a distributed exchange built in, supports multiple currencies, has great scaling, ... I just would like for stellar to become widely adopted as bitcoin.
