This is an application that allows users to easily create tokens on stellar. It is based on the blog post by Jed.
I had implemented this for Saza wallet, but decided to make a standalone version for users not comfortable with web wallets.
Also you can test out token creation on the test network before creating live tokens.

Can this work without requiring the user to give up his secret?

andruby For this to work without secrets, it will need a way for you to sign and submit the built transaction, maybe on your computer. The focus here is ease of use that is why I have chosen this route. As sacarlson said, you are most welcome to extend this version with more features. Also note that the keys never leave the browser and are only used for signing.

anruby you or they could create a branch that allows you to sign the transaction at a remote site or wallet like stellar.org labs or on my_wallet. I wrote a branch of stellarterm that does this as an example. We could also make it so you could sign the transaction with a phone wallet like stargazer or my_wallet or other with a qr-code to reference the envelope to sign. Otherwise I think the app is cool and shows how easy it is to create tokens or assets on stellar.org network.

This is great! The following features I think would improve the app:

It's not possible to run this without internet access and there is always a chance that account secret will be compromised. Would be great if there was an option to display transactions on the offline machine that can be later copied to the online machine and submitted. Maybe use the QR codes to make it easier to transfer?
I was asked several times about custom assets with inflation built in. It should be possible to achieve with time bounds and pre-authorized transactions.

Hey bartek thanks for the feedback.
Great idea on displaying the transaction offline. Will see if I can add an option to display the transaction as an XDR string that can then be copied to something like Stellar Lab.
Ah yes, we did discuss about built in inflation will see if I can implement the procedure for time bounds and pre-auth as discussed.
