there's obviously a lot of chatter around Ethereum and the EC 20 token. What is the view from here? Is there an equivalent on Stellar?

kg1972 I assume you are talking about the ERC20 tokens. Stellar supports already natively different assets/tokens. It's built into the Stellar network and IMO superior to ERC20 tokens. It also gives you access to the Stellar Decentralised Exchange. So you can directly trade your issued token for USD/EUR/BTC/... without having it being first added to an exchange.

bkolobara thats great and we would love to do that...we are Stellar fans. the issue i had recently(as did some of my colleagues) was that we went to the stellar dex and could not find a buy button-so we had to go and buy from a different commercial exchange and that was a rip-off.

also one other thing that would be very helpful is to find a paper which compares ethereum and stellar. there is way too much of ethereum stuff out there. look we are not tech whizkids; Jed and co made it incredibly smart for us to be able to get easily launch a product , propagate a brand and create a network. this is way supersonic compared to the overrrated stuff happening out there. our focus is brand, brand, brand, consumer consumer consumer....and so on. we need to start telling the technical story well.
