sending non trusted asset

Hi! I am working on a new asset/token and I am wondering what happens if such a token/asset is sent to a stellar address before the trust is granted ? would the transaction be rejected? I know i could find the answer by trying but in case the coin gets burned I thought to ask here first ! thanks

wow this is a bit of a limitation..what if someone wants to gift a new asset to someone else? that person has to pay to accept it ? ? would creating a new account that already trusted the asset be a better solution ? e.g. if this was about cats would a cat be a token/asset or an account? thanks for your help

gurugeek ahm no.. the person only hasto trust your asset and issuing account.. because stellar assets could refer to real world objects the reciever has to trust the issuer that he indeed has the asset if he wants to change the digital asset into its real world asset..

and if is an account how would I transfer ownership..beside giving the private key ?

nick0816 thanks for your reply. So for a game where new creature is born...do you think it should be an account or a coin/token? obviously the token seems difficult since if you want to gift the creature to someone else he / she would need to trust it first ?
