One thing is 100% is I have had an impact (positive) on the market since I started doing this but you aren't aware of it.

    I already have the positive/negative impacts studied and proven.
    I would need to build a roadmap with milestones.

    We were getting killed by whales before I started all of this on November 6th

    And you know when theres like no walls suddenly on the sell side that it's done on purpose.

      Any updates on this round? Doesn't look like there were any submissions. Also, are we supposed to be giving out our lumens to people if we want to make a wallet?

        abunsen I put in a large submission about 3 weeks ago and never heard anything back on it. Was a "little" disappointed particularly as the website didn't let me go back and fetch the edits. It said it submitted and that was that.

          I put it in through the Stellar partnership grant program and that portal states I would have been contacted within 2 weeks. An acknowledgment might have been nice, I lost a full day getting that proposal together. Anyway it's gone now I guess.

            CarbonMan I'm not sure about the partnership grant program. I assumed we are talking about the build challenge.

            But you are right, the SDF should keep their deadline promises. It would make them look more professional. Good communication is an area most of the companies could profit from in crypto space.

              @jed said he was really busy these days but he is working on it - be patient, results should come within the month ?

                Actually /u/b1tcc over at the Reddit Stellar sub has been helping me. She's been great, a really good resource for Stellar.

                  I am aware that XLM will be a great currency, I think, it will be much better than Bitcoin. However, to be a currency, XLM must be used for transactions.

                  There are some features that a digital currency needs to have:
                  1. Fast: XLM can proceed within 3-5 seconds. It is about the same level with XRP.
                  2. Efficient or cost effective: I think XLM is cheap for transaction. I believe it is cheaper that Bitcoin. If XLM can be a free of fee transaction, it will be better.
                  3.Reliable

                  I think, XLM can be a currency for the world as it is has much of those features. XLM is also run by non profit organisation, unlike XRP that owned by Ripple. XLM that will be granted to communities will make it easily adopted.

                  However, I recommend to Stellar Core to make XLM more useful:
                  "Build a decentralised exchange for any assets with free of transaction cost". On this exchange, XLM will be a native currency. XLM can be exchanged to any currency and assets on the exchange. In this exchange, companies like GOOG, AAPL, IBM, MSFT are listed and also can be bought here. Any assets including gold, silver can be traded on the exchange. Oil and Gas also can be traded.

                  If it can be made, i believe XLM will be widely used in the world. I have a dream that this exchange will be built. Just I am not a programmer to make a coding to make the exchange run:-)

                      Looking at the list of sample applications in the "Build Stellar Apps" guide, there is a Resource Paywall or a Toll Collector application. Can anyone tell me, what could be added value of such application? - I mean why not to use Stripe or the like? Is it "just" lack of Stellar network connectivity? Thanks for your ideas.

                        jbmb Yes, the point of build challenge is connecting Stellar to everything, of course many ideas are not unique, but they do provide an alternative and eventually it will be very competitive. If you use Stripe or similar services for subscription - imagine that your credit card is in different currency. You get couple percents charge for currency conversion, but on Stellar it will be exchanged at the best rate available on the network.
